St Botolph
We are part of a united benefice of two groups of churches working closely together.
St Botolph’s offers a warm welcome to everyone, of all denominations, who may come and worship with us. We hold Services in church every Sunday at 10.30am and Holy Communion in the Church Hall every Thursday at 9.30am as well as on other special occasions.
In addition to regular services our church continues to provide a centre for celebrations at times of great joy, a place of comfort at times of great sorrow and a sanctuary for private prayer and quiet contemplation.
We have an active LOCAL MINISTRY TEAM of lay and ordained people working together in the parish to encourage and support the congregation to take part in the life and the witness of the church.
Our music in church enjoys the benefit of a very capable church choir which is member of the Royal School of Church Music. We have an active band of bellringers, a Mothers’ Union Group and a very talented Flower Group.
The church also serves the community by publishing FOSS FOCUS, the parish magazine for Saxilby and District and our fully refurbished Church Hall is made available for hire by the wider community.
We look to the future and endeavour to be Faithful in our worship, Confident in our mission and Joyful in our service to the wider community.
