About Us
Celebrating all that is good and of God in our community.
We aim to be a friendly and growing congregation of usually between 25-35 attendees on a normal Sunday drawn mainly from the north end of Gainsborough and the village of Morton. A service is held each week at St Paul’s except on the first Sunday of the month when we join the congregation at All Saints for the 10.30am All Age Communion. At our services our hymns are accompanied by our organist.
We have strong links with the local uniformed organisations and Morton Trentside School who often join us at special services and are very pleased that a significant number of children from the local area are baptised here each year. There are also an increasing number of couples who choose to be married here too.
We have a beautiful Grade II* listed building that has many examples of work that was carried out in the William Morris studios, including a number of Burne-Jones stained glass windows. We also host a regular programme of concerts throughout the year.
We look forward to welcoming you to our church. Tea and coffee is served after the service so there is always the opportunity to get to know each other better.
