The 2024 West Lindsey Open Churches Festival is now over. This information page has been left in situ to give you a flavour of what takes place during the two weekends in the month of May, each year.

This page will be updated in early 2025 with details of the May 2025 Festival.

You are invited to explore 88 of West Lindsey's best treasures in the 2024 Open Churches Festival.

The Festival is split over two weekends, the first weekend - Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th of May features the Eastern group of 41 fabulous Churches.

 Whilst Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th of May showcases a further 47 superb Churches in the Western part of West Lindsey.

St Mary's Church - Knaith is taking part in the Festival on this latter weekend and is open from 10.00am to 4pm on both days. You are assured of a warm and friendly welcome to our unique Church in its stunning setting by the mighty River Trent.  Refreshments and lots of cake will be available, along with a free guided tour and an amazing history.
