You are invited to explore 100 of West Lindsey's best treasures (and some of it's closest neighbours) in the 2025 Open Churches Festival.The Festival is split over two weekends, the first weekend - Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th of May features the Western group of fabulous Churches.Whilst Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th of May showcases a superb group of Churches in the Eastern part of West Lindsey.St Mary's Church - Knaith is taking part in the Festival on the FIRST WEEKEND the 10th and 11th of May, and is open from 10.00am to 4pm on both days. You are assured of a warm and friendly welcome to our unique Church in its stunning setting by the side of the mighty River Trent.Refreshments and lots of cake will be available, along with a free guided tour and an amazing history, including tales of intrigue and fortunes won and lost, calamity and tragedy. We are a dog friendly church, dogs on leads are most welcome. Oh, and did I mention, lots of cake!Plenty of free off road car parking is available close to our church. Look out for the Festival Banners at the entrance to the estate off the A156 road in the village of Knaith.
