Just over a month to our next concert, 13 July, 2.30pm at St Andrew's Church Epworth. We're really looking forward to our performance of Quanta Qualia by Patrick Hawes, born in Grimsby in 1958 and now a prolific composer and organist. You will hear stunning solos from Alison Rimmington and alto saxophone by Jane Daniels. The words express a heartfelt longing for the joys of heaven, and were written by Patrick's brother, Canon Andrew Hawes.
50 minutes of lovely music including Bob Chilcott's Peace Mass, 21st Century songs and music from films such as Wonka, Hunger Games & Chitty, Chitty, Bang, Bang followed by refreshments.
