‘Tāla Tarang are a unique tabla and harp duo who perform a vibrant fusion of styles from South Indian Konnakol and Ghanaian folk music to Ravel’s Bolero. Mendi Singh (tabla) and Eleanor Turner (harp) have been writing music and performing together for a decade now, performing alongside Peter Gabriel, Akram Khan, Take That, Courtney Pine, Tony Christie, Voces8 and Jonny Greenwood to name a few.’This is part of Stamford Arts Centre’s annual ‘Music In Quiet Places’ season.
