To mark Advent Sunday and Leasingham Village's commencement of their Living
Advent calendar on Sunday 1st December the Duke of Wellington public house will
be turning on their Christmas window and light show in the grounds, which marks the first window of the calendar, with a social celebration which includes a variety of stalls run by local charities and organisations. The Church will have a lucky giftbag sale and the chance to win a hamper with a lucky squares game.
The school choir will also be performing. The event runs between 3pm and 7pm and also includes the presentation of the Villager and Young Villager of the Year Award.
Some members from Leasingham's congregation will be leading the singing at the Duke of Wellington on Friday December 13th during the early evening and hopefully other visitors will be joining in with us. The Rotary Club will also be at the Duke of Wellington, along with Santa and his sleigh which will be parked there for families to come along to and see Santa and enjoy the festivity.
Our special Christmas Coffee Morning will be on Saturday December 14th in Leasingham Village Hall between 10 am and 11.30am having a variety of stalls, serving fairtrade beverages and a selection of homemade cakes and scones so please call in and support this Christmas fundraising and social event. Everyone most welcome. It will be good to see you.
