Coming up in Ruskington Everyone welcome to join us at these special events
8 November 7pm Winchelsea Centre
A Military History talk on the "The Robin Hoods (7th Battalion Sherwood Foresters)
at Gommecourt, 1916" by local historian Jonathon D’Hooghe. A very interesting
talk on how perceptions of soldier's conduct was seen in those horrific battles. The
lecture will consider that despite the horrendous casualties suffered on this day,
only one Division, the 46th, faced a Court of Enquiry where they were accused of a
‘Lack of Offensive Spirit’ in essence, Cowardice.

2 December Come along and support All Saints and the village at the Winter Fayre – activities
for all ages

10 December 1pm Winchelsea Centre
Not a Christmas Dinner. Join us for a 2 course lunch with a bit of festive
cheer. The main course with be chicken followed by a selection of desserts.
Cost £10, names on list in church or to [email protected]

25 December 12noon for 1pm Winchelsea Centre
Join us for a traditional Christmas Day lunch.
Everyone welcome – whether you are on your own or finding it difficult to
cope please come and join us. We can help with transport and will even
deliver to you if you are unable to make it on the day. Book early to avoid
disappointment.
