'With great pleasure Friends of St Mary’s announce that Swineshead St Mary’s Church is illuminated during the hours of darkness. The old spot lights have been replaced with LED so we can light up the Church throughout the Winter. For many years over the Christmas period the church building has been illuminated thanks to an anonymous donor for which we express our gratitude. Installation of the new LED lamps will enable the church to be illuminated throughout the year during the hours of darkness at the same cost.
