Friends of Swineshead St Mary's Church kindly held a Swineshead Archives Open Day in the church Hall and a St Mary's church . Archives were available to look at including photos , articles , maps and artefacts and some church registers . St Mary's Cafe was open and there was the chance to climb the steep steps up to the church tower to see the magnificent views from the top of the tower. Gordon, one of our congregation members ,  kindly took people up to the top of the tower . Photos on the website  include pictures of Gordon and some of the visitors to the tower to include Aubrey , our treasurer, visitors Ross and Georgina  and also a view from the tower .
