We eagerly await a replacement vicar, following the recent retirement of Rev Charlie . However this is a time of change and the new vicar of our  group of parishes will be shared with more parishes and so sadly we will not have as many regular services as we have been used to having. So please read the notices of services carefully to be sure of the times , dates and venues of the forthcoming and future services . 

We do now however have have a new priest coming to St Mary's Church Swineshead . This is wonderful news . The Induction service for are new vicar The Revd Mark Williams will take place on Monday April 22nd at St Mary's Church Swineshead at 7pm . All are welcome to attend to join in the service and to welcome Rev Mark to the Haven Group of Parishes. There will be refreshments afterwards. 

Meanwhile we are very grateful to Rev Sue and Rev Richard ,  for taking services of Holy Communion  and preaching  the sermons as we need an ordained priest to do this. We are also very grateful  to Jean and Elizabeth who have  trained to be Accredited Lay Ministers  who will be able to offer us morning prayer  services when there is no ordained priest available to take a service for us. It is even more pressing that we continue to raise funds to pay for our priest and other expenses of the church so that we can continue to flourish as a Parish Church .
