St Mary, Old Leake

Welcome to Old Leake, St Marys.

Old Leake is the largest parish in the Cluster with both the largest village and Leake Commonside. The Village also hosts a secondary school, a Primary School, doctors surgery, residential home and group of shops in addition to the farmland and agricultural businesses. The church hosts a once a month “Messy Breakfast”, which is a hybrid between a cafe church and messy church on the 2nd Sunday of the month at 9.30am and is open to the whole cluster. Those interested can receive a text reminder of details for the next service. Old Leake hosts a Stations of the Cross service on Good Friday and also whole school end of term services with Old Leake Primary. Coffee mornings are held every second Saturday, from March to December at 10am to 11.30am. There are a variety of stalls, including homemade cakes, vegetables, bric a brac and a raffle.

Safeguarding

"Our parish of Old Leake: St Mary is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Lincoln’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO - Rev'd Andrew Higginson or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
