We are delighted to announce that the Skating Rink is coming back and will be fantastic fun! The Christmas Tree Festival will begin on Wednesday, 26 November with the procession at 6:00pm from the Market Place to the church for the official switch-on of the Christmas tree lights. More details for the entry times and tickets to book for skating will be available nearer the time. We’d like to invite you to take part in this year’s festival. What do you need to know? Firstly, there is no charge to take part (although a donation of £10 per tree from local businesses would be welcomed to offset costs): each local group, local business, school or individual simply register their interest to put a tree in the festival. The ever-popular Skating Rink is coming back and we know, as in previous years, it will be fantastic fun! The skating times and tickets will be available online nearer the time. Secondly, if you would like to enter a tree into the festival, please click on the link HERE in order to complete the form which lets us know the information about the tree you will be placing in the festival. Please complete your form by 2:00pm on Friday 21 November 2025.If you or your business / organisation would consider helping sponsor this event we would be hugely grateful. The costs of putting on a festival of this size and complexity are significant! We look forward to seeing you at the festival.
The big day has arrived! On 30th April the National Trust has opened Grantham House to visitors. The Parish Office is still located just inside the main entrance to the house along with our meeting rooms and general office all upstairs at Grantham House. The National Trust are currently offering a café, second-hand book shop and, of course, the beautiful gardens. This is a ‘free to enter’ site – there is no entry fee, and you do not need to be a member of the National Trust. Current opening times are 10:00am to 5:00pm, seven days a week. If you’re in Grantham, why not call in and enjoy this oasis within the town centre. As Fr Stuart and Fr Clay are demonstrating in the photo, it’s a great place to meet and have a catch-up. The National Trust staff are also directing people to St Wulfram’s, as somewhere to visit whilst being so close, so we in turn look forward to welcoming more visitors to our church. If you are able, please do come along and enjoy some time in these beautiful spaces.
Thank you for clicking on the tab for news and notices at St Wulfram's Church. Each Friday the weekly Community news is added to the Notice Sheet page.
