It may have been a while since we began the process of gaining the necessary permissions to improve the heating, seating, and lighting in our lovely church. But we are very pleased to announce that we have been able to make a start with Phase 1.

The benches have been removed from the back part of the church providing us with valuable circulation and meeting space, the bases of the pillars have been clad to match the other new woodwork in the church and had the quarry tile floors have been professionally cleaned and sealed. They almost look as good as new.

We have also had a ramp installed in the church porch to make it easy to get into church.

We are also fundraising and applying for grants to allow us to progress with the next stage of the work.
