On Sunday 3rd November at 3:30pm we have our annual memorial service. This is a Service of Thanksgiving and Remembrance for those who have died. The service will include familiar hymns, prayer, readings and a short address. You are warmly invited to join us for this memorial service when there will be an opportunity to light a candle in memory of your loved one who will be remembered by name. Afterwards you will be most welcome to stay and share in refreshments and conversation.

On Sunday 10th November we will be joining with many around the country as we mark armistice on Remembrance Sunday. At 10am we will gather together and hold a short service with hymns, readings and a sermon. Then at 10:45am we will make our way to the Waddington War Memorial and at approximately 10:55am our Act of Remembrance will commence with the laying of wreaths, two minutes silence, prayers and singing the national anthem.
You are invited to join us for either or both of these services. Many people have found these services to be a source of comfort and reassurance. However if you would prefer to spend time remembering in quiet, the church is open most days 10am-4pm for quiet and private prayer and you can light a candle in the sanctuary of the church
During this season of remembrance, I hope that you will be able to take some comfort from our thoughts and prayers.

Church heating
By the time you are reading this we hope to be well over halfway to raising the £12,000 we need to replace our heaters, If you are coming to service in the next few weeks please wrap up warm - we do have blankets available if needed. Our grateful thanks to the many who have already contributed to the heating fund.

Our Christingle and Crib service will take place on 24th December. The collection at this service goes to the work of The Children's Society. Collecting boxes are available now from the back of church - please bring to the service.
