This marks the beginning of Advent with the church decorated with an array of Christmas Trees provided by the local community. We encourage all ages and especially the younger ones to help them prepare for the celebration of our Saviour's birth.

We are relaunching our Junior Choir with the help of Jean James, a music teacher at a local primary school and hope to repeat the success we had in 2018. The sessions are in church from 6.00pm to 7.00pm on the 3rd Friday of each month and all age school children will receive a very warm welcome and in addition to singing will have the opportunity to play several musical instruments which Jean owns and plays. Refreshments provided and parents very welcome to attend whilst DBS checked PCC members will be present to assist where required.

The traditional service of 9 lessons and carols telling the story of our Saviours birth. Members of the church and local community read the lessons and our Junior Choir will sing prepared pieces. This is a real family occasion to celebrate the Christmas story.

Our Christmas Communion service to celebrate the birth of our Saviour. All ages are welcome and those not taking communion very welcome to receive a blessing. This is held at this earlier time due to the availability of those licensed to lead Holy Communion.

The 4 churches of the Elloe Stone Benefice come together on the 5th Sunday of those months they occur and we are delighted to be hosting this particular one. There will be a choir helping us to sing along and all ages are welcome with those who do not take communion more than welcome to receive a blessing.

Regular Holy Communion on the third Sunday of each month, excluding December, at 10.00am. Families welcome with drawing materials for children to keep them occupied during the service whilst offered a blessing whilst the adult congregation take communion.
