In partnership with the HTB Network, CRT, GLAFN and complementing the work of Foodbank and others in the city, we have launched an emergency food and supplies depot to get essential provisions to those in need. We are also running volunteer ‘Help Force’ and ‘Phone Friends’ teams to assist with emergency errands and to keep in contact with isolated people. If you, or anyone you know, needs help, or has the capacity to help (practically or financially) at the moment, we would love to hear from you. Please visit www.stswithins.org/loveyourneighbour to see how you can get involved. Thank you.
The church building may be closed, but the church community is very much open and accessible! To help you stay connected at this time, we’ve created some Neighbourhubs > small groups of people who live in the same area across the city. The overall vision for these hubs is the same as that of St. Swithin’s:“Everyone playing their unique part to see Lives and Communities transformed”.Our Neighbourhubs are hubs of connection and action > somewhere you can call when you’re in need of support, a pint of milk, an encouraging word or just a chat, an opportunity to grow in faith together and a base from which to #loveyourneighbourIf you’d like to join a Neighbourhub, then please email hello@stswithins.org.uk including your full name, contact number, email and postal address. Someone will then get in touch to welcome you to the community!
