On 3 October 2019, St John's Church welcomed students and teachers from Charles Read Academy for their Harvest Festival.

The students had previously brought groceries to the Academy, ready for taking to our local food banks.

Their singing was first rate, and their enthusiasm in making words out of the letters H-A-R-V-E-S-T great fun. 

Thank you to all who gave, came and participated. Your gifts will be a huge help to our local food banks, whose shelves were beginning to look worryingly empty...
