Occurring
Every First, Third Sunday at for 1 hour
Venue Address
Church Street Corby Glen Grantham NG33 4NJ, NG33 4NJ, United Kingdom
On the first and third Sundays of each month, the services of Morning Worship starting at 11am at Corby Glen Church will include a special Sunday School run by a qualified, experienced teacher.

We will start the service together at 11am in St John’s Church, and after the first hymn or song, the Sunday School will go to the Church Street Rooms Conservatory. Parents/carers can choose to stay in the church and enjoy the service there, or go with their children to the Sunday School.

Activities might include crafts, learning a new song to teach to the rest of the congregation, storytelling, digging deeper into a verse from the Bible, plus a time of prayer – all connected with the worship taking place in the church itself. Most activities will be aimed at ages from 3 years to 10, but other ages are very welcome.

After 25 minutes or so, the Sunday School will rejoin the congregation in St John’s, and show everyone what they have been doing. We’ll then enjoy singing the final hymn or song together, before ending our Morning Worship with a prayer.

Safeguarding

The whole benefice is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have a Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO) covering the whole benefice. The Diocese of Lincoln’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
