Messy Church is continuing in our villages!
Hello everyone,
We are planning our next exciting session of Messy Church across our group on Sunday 13th October, at Braceborough Village Hall.
The principle behind Messy Church is that it is a very fun and informal form of church consisting of craft activities based around a Bible reading/theme, followed by a short period of celebration (an activity, singing, some prayers), and a meal together. It is welcoming for people of all ages, but is particularly suitable for families with young children - and the adults stay with the children, thereby also having the chance to get to know more about Jesus and to get to know each other.
We are planning to have one session a month, with a break in July & August usually on a Sunday afternoon from 3-5pm, and for this to take place in different villages, either in Church or in the Village Hall whichever works best as a venue. Just as we are all getting more used to travelling around to worship in each others’ churches, we hope that the ‘Messy Church congregation’ will go to wherever Messy Church is being held that month.
The next exciting session is booked for SUNDAY 13th October 2024 from 3pm - 5pm at Braceborough Village Hall
