Good Friday - Particularly poignant and commented on was the sight of three crosses standing by the East Window of St Michael and All Angel’s, Uffington. The village streets that would normally witness the emotional procession of the cross were silent, but those out for their morning ‘allowed’ exercise could be seen glancing up at the large East Window, pausing to remember the starkness of the day.
