St Firmin's Church
Welcome to our page. St Firmin's Church, Thurlby together with St Michael and All Angels at Langtoft and St John the Baptist at Baston together are the Ness Group Benefice.
St Firmin's is a beautiful ancient church, parts of which date back to 925 AD. We are situated on the edge of the fens between Peterborough and Bourne.
I am pleased to say that our Church is now open for services. Our weekly service online is continuing on a Sunday Morning at 10 am on our website and also on The Ness Group, St Firmins Church and also Northorpe Thurlby facebook pages. It is available on the website until the following Saturday.
The parish of Thurlby: St Firmin is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Lincoln’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. St John the Baptist
Welcome to our page. St John The Baptist Church, Baston with St Michael and All Angels at Langtoft and St Firmin's Church, Thurlby together are the Ness Group Benefice.
St John the Baptist Church is a beautiful ancient church, first recorded as a Chapel in a Charter of 871. The existing building dates back in parts to the 12th Century. We are situated on the edge of the fens between Peterborough and Bourne.
I am pleased to say that our Church is now open for services and Private Prayer. Our weekly service online is continuing on a Sunday Morning at 10 am on our website and also on The Ness Group facebook page, It is available on the website until the following Saturday.
