Join us in the Cathedral for Choral Evensong on Sunday 14 July, 6.00pm
ORDINARY TIME
In the church year there are two periods known as Ordinary Time. The second period is that between the day after Pentecost until the day before Advent Sunday. The liturgical colour is green signifying life and growth in God. This provides an opportunity to reflect upon the Christian life of faith in the every-day – living out the life and love of Christ wherever we find ourselves.
MUSIC TONIGHT
A warm welcome to Guildford Cathedral Singers, under the direction of John Bawden, who will be singing our services today.
PRECES AND RESPONSES
Forbes L’Estrange (b. 1971)
CANTICLES
Evening Service in B minor Thomas Tertius Noble (1867-1953)
