As always St Peter’s Church is open for prayer during daylight hours. A book of condolence is available in the church if you wish to record your thoughts.A prayer on the death of Her Majesty The QueenGracious God, we give thanksfor the life of your servant Queen Elizabeth,for her faith and her dedication to duty.Bless our nation as we mourn her deathand may her example continue to inspire us;through Jesus Christ our Lord.Amen.
Scrumptious afternoon teas were served from 2pm until 4.30pm on the decorated green by the churchyard. Tasty teas, gorgeous gateaus, brilliant biscuits and convivial conversation were all enjoyed. The sun shone and the all the money raised will help us to continue the upkeep of our lovely church. Thank you once again to all those who helped and to all those who contributed towards the magnificent total of £2165.
