The Abbey is open from 8.45am until 4.30pm daily.

Access may be restricted during services. Please look at the website www.tewkesburyabbey under 'service times' for weekly services.

Evening Prayer is said in St Margaret's Chapel each day at 4pm, using the Church of England Daily Prayer app.
Weekday Evening Prayer is said when Choral Evensong is not sung.

Experience peace and light at Tewkesbury Abbey with Peace Doves and Imagine Peace, two breath-taking installations that unite art, community, and hope. Peace Doves, created by artist Peter Walker, fills the Abbey’s nave with thousands of paper doves, each decorated with messages of love and peace by local schools, community groups, and residents. This inspiring display reflects the shared aspirations of people across North Gloucestershire.

Book of Common Prayer in the Lady Chapel

This will be an informal service which will include Boys Brigade parading of banners and an all-age talk. It will also be a communion service where anyone who wishes to, can come to receive the bread and wine.
We will have a range of well-known hymns and, after the service, we are planning refreshments including sausage and bacon butties! The themes for the next 3 services are:

6 October Harvest Festival
3 November Saints and Superheroes
1 December Only 24 sleeps left

Choral Evensong Sung by the Abbey Choir

Welcome to Celebrate! We are a fresh expression of Church lovingly seeded from Tewkesbury Abbey in Priors Park for families who love to come together to have fun, get to know Jesus, grow together in faith, support and care for each other and those in our wider community.

We are an inclusive community where all are welcome. We particularly suit families of all ages as children are always present and fully involved.

We normally meet every Saturday 10.30am in Tewkesbury Abbey as a whole community . We also meet weekly on Zoom for our Bible study and at other times for family events, holidays, kids and teenage stuff and sometimes just for lunch!
