A quiet 15-minute service every Wednesday morning. Everyone very welcome
'Coffee Shop', every Thursday morning from 10:30 to 12:30 - just drop in
'St. Andrew's Cinema' held in the church on the first Tuesday of each month except August (part of the 'rural cinema' scheme)
Classical concerts in May, June, July and September/October - see the link (on the right) to 'Naunton Music'
There has been a church on this site since Saxon times, and there is a Saxon cross in the wall. The present building is largely 15th century, although the interior was much changed at the end of the Victorian era. The beautiful stone pulpit and font are medieval. The tower has a restored ring of six bells. There are two interesting sundials on the tower dating back to the 18th century.
St. Andrew's is one of seven churches in a joint benefice encompassing the villages of Naunton, Upper and Lower Slaughter, Guiting Power, Temple Guiting, Cutsdean and Farmcote.
