We are part of the Benefice of Bourton on the Water with Clapton & the Rissingtons.
St James' is the only public building in the village of Clapton on the Hill and is one of the smallest church buildings in Gloucestershire. It is a chapelry of St Lawrence's, Bourton on the Water.
Sunday services take place at 9.30am on the 1st Sunday in the month (Morning Worship) and third Sunday of the month (Communion from the Book of Common Prayer).
When there is a fifth Sunday in the month a joint service (normally Communion) is held at 11am in one of the churches of the benefice.
