With our growing congregation now regularly requiring the use of both chancel and nave, we have decided to try to install new infra-red heating and lighting chandeliers in the nave. This will cost £20,000 and we kicked off an appeal to raise these funds on 1st June 2024 in the perhaps ambitious hope that we might raise sufficient funds to install the new fixtures before the arrival of Winter! This new technology will allow us to warm the congregation without having to try to heat the substantial space of the whole nave and so will also allow us to achieve greater heat at significantly lower energy use.
