UPDATE
Planning for the Christmas Day Lunch is well underway. As a reminder this is for individuals and couples in Fairford, surrounding villages and Lechlade who would otherwise be on their own on Christmas Day. Bookings from Guests have been pouring in and we now have a great team of volunteers to do all that needs doing to make the event a success.

It seems likely to be quite a party, so please let us know if you can come or know of anyone who you think might like to join us. Lifts can be arranged. It’s all very informal, relaxed and friendly. There’s no need to feel apprehensive if arriving on your own. You will be looked after!

A donation of £5 is suggested from each guest. The event starts at 12.30 and finishes after the King ́s Speech at around 15.30. Our contact details will be found on the posters in the area and are also below.

Each year we have been amazed by the generosity of the local community in supporting this worthwhile cause over the years and 2023 is proving no different. With our sincere thanks to all those who have contributed.

St Mary's Church, Fairford

Welcome to St Mary's! We are an active and committed church community, gathering to worship in our historic church building at the heart of Fairford. Our main services are 10am on Sunday mornings, but there are plenty of other opportunities for prayer, worship and studying together. Have a look at our services, and/or contact the Team Vicar, Rev'd Caroline, for more information.

Alongside our worship in the beautiful building of St Mary's Church, we offer online study and worship.

Morning Prayer is on Zoom at 9am Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. Go to our FaceBook page (www.facebook.com/stmarysfairford) for the daily Zoom invitation.

Our weekly Bible Study is at 4pm on Thursdays, again on Zoom. For an invitation to the session, just contact Rev'd Caroline.

Safeguarding

The parish of South Cotswold Team Ministry is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Gloucester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
