The Advent Course this year was based around Stephanie Denning's work on Hidden Hardship in local communities in the UK. We used the Devotional Guide that accompanies her report, copies of which are available at the back of church. In all the business of the run up to Christmas, it was good to take time out for reflection and consider the needs of others and share thoughts.
