This coming Sunday, 26th May, we will be welcoming Rev Canon Charles Masheder to lead our service at 11:15 and then to chair the annual meeting of the Parish Church. This is when we elect church wardens and PCC members and receive reports on the life of our church in the past year and share hopes and plans for the future. It is a formal obligation of all churches to hold such meetings each year and, in St. Lawrence's case, the formal part should be a fairly brief. We will then have lunch together which any visitors to the meeting are welcome to share with us.
