We partner across our six churches to run South Cheltenham Youth for 11-19s in our Church and community.

We have a meet weekly during term time on a Tuesday at CNC with Emmanuel.

Throughout the week, we are also involved in youth work through local school Christian Unions, and organise trips, youth residentials, and camps that young people are invited to come along to.

Our groups have a focus on community, fun, and faith. All young people are welcome to come along, Christian or not.

St Peter

St Peter’s is an inclusive, friendly and welcoming church, which worships in a beautiful building at the foot of Leckhampton Hill. There is a communion service each week, which is supported by a robed choir, and there is a themed family service every first Sunday. In addition, there is a Tuesday morning Toddler group (Little Pebbles).

Safeguarding

Our parish of Leckhampton: St Peter is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Gloucester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
