From the A38 from Bristol to Gloucester, there is a Thornbury turn of to the left at the Alveston junction where you would make your way down the hill, past the golf course (lhs) and leisure centre (rhs) and you arrive at a small roundabout at the top of the hight street. Continue on down the high street where it then goes left into Castle street, and you continue to the bottom. We are at the bottom of Castle Street, in front of Thornbury Castle.
The second A38 Thornbury turn off brings you from Grovesend Road accross a round-about onto Gillingstool Road and up to a T-juntion with car park (lhs) and Aldis in front of you. Turn right onto Rock Street, arrive at small flat round about, take a left onto The Plain, and then first right onto Castle Street and follow to the bottom.
Third turning in Thornbury, off A38 is onto Gloucester Road following signs through Morton back into Thornbury, where you can take a left hand turn onto Church Road, drive to the bottom, take a left and you will be in front of the Church.
