Our Benefice Communion service to welcome in Christmas Day takes place at St Giles Hillesley this year.
An opportunity for quiet prayer based on the Common Worship daily prayer.
St Giles does not normally have a service on the second or fourth Sunday of the month, but all are welcome to attend elsewhere in the benefice on these days, and many do. On a fifth Sunday, or during the summer holidays, all our churches take it in turns to host a service for the whole benefice, which may take place at any of our five churches, at either 9:30am or 11am according to what is normal locally. All the churches come together on the Sunday after Christmas.
A simple eucharistic service based on the 1662 Book of Common Prayer, without a sermon or hymns. This service usually takes place on the first Sunday of each month, but can vary according to circumstances.
