Address
St Mary's Church High Street Kingswood, GL12 8RS, United Kingdom

The weekend of 9th/10th September 2023 is the weekend of Heritage Open Days, and because this is a special year for St Mary’s, we are going to be part of it. We will be mounting an exhibition on the history and fabric of the church over the weekend.

The climax of the weekend will be a talk, From Then to Now, on Sunday 10 September 7PM for 7:30PM). This will be an affectionate and well-illustrated exploration of how the building has changed over three centuries - it certainly looked very different in 1723! We will draw attention to some of the clues you may have missed or cannot normally see as well as those artefacts that are well worth a second look. It should be great fun as well as being informative. Do come along.

Tickets £6 (to include refreshments) from David Hatton [email protected]
