Parish Giving Scheme - Launch of new telephone service
Whilst at the moment we cannot physically meet together, we are still 'being church', and many of our expenses still need to be met. Much of our regular income comes from the weekly collection plate, but this is not possible during the current restrictions.
If you do not already donate regularly via your bank, we would like to encourage you to do so via the Parish Giving scheme, which is based in Gloucester Diocese.
You can find out full details about the scheme from their website, but a summary of the new process is below:
The Parish Giving Scheme is delighted to announce the launch of our new telephone service, designed to enable prospective donors to set up a regular Direct Debit gift over the phone.
Please call our dedicated telephone number: 0333 002 1271
Lines are open Monday to Friday, between 9 – 5pm.
You will need to have your bank account details, church/parish name and PGS parish code to hand The code for St Paul's Shurdington is SHUR (Gloucester Diocese churches do not have the more recent 9 digit code numbers you may see referred to in some advertising)
You will be able to Gift Aid your donation, if eligible, and you will also be given the option to increase your giving annually, in line with inflation.
