St Katharine's Matson

Welcome! We are delighted that you have come to visit our webpage and hope to see you in person soon.

St Katharine's Matson is a warm and welcoming church community. Part of Gloucester Diocese, we share the "LIFE Vision" and commitment for all to discover the good news of Jesus and live life in all its fullness (John 10.10).

Stretching back to the 12th century there is a long history of worship on the site of St Katharine's, where the current picturesque Cotswold stone church was built in 1851. The church building is set in a well loved churchyard and can hold hold up to 120 people for baptisms, weddings, funerals, celebrations, small concerts, gatherings and services.

We worship together each Sunday at 10:00 and everyone,  young or old is welcome.  We partner closely with St Barnabas Gloucester.  You can visit their website at www.stbg.uk

Safeguarding

"Our parish of Matson: St Katharine is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Gloucester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please visit our website, www.stkatharinesmatson.co.uk where contact details of safeguarding officers can be found.

If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
