Join us to sing lots of joyful songs and hear about the meaning of each part of the Christingle as a giant one is put together. And don't miss the magical moment when we each receive our own individual Christingle and light the candles in the centre.
Christingles are made using oranges, red ribbon, sweets and dried fruits and a candle. Each element of a Christingle has a special meaning and helps to tell the Christian story:
The orange represents the world
The red ribbon symbolises the love and blood of Christ
The sweets and dried fruit represent all of God’s creations
The lit candle represents Jesus’s light in the world, bringing hope to people living in darkness.
