St Peter's Church, Newnham-on-Severn
Welcome to St Peter’s, Newnham on Severn! We are a friendly and active church, integral to the village community, welcoming people of all ages and abilities. It is the largest building in the village, set on the cliff overlooking the Severn, and a good place for groups to meet, and for meals, concerts, Burns Night and all sorts of things.
The church is open every day (between about 9am and 5pm) for private prayer, or just a quiet moment. Our church services are usually every Sunday at 10am and every Thursday at 10.15am. All are very welcome - and do stay for coffee/tea/biscuits after each service.
We hope, too, that you can find other useful things on this site. If you've just moved into the village we've produced a 'Welcome to Newnham' pack which gives details of all of our organisations, clubs, facilities etc. and a map. All voluntary workers who have direct access to, or responsibility for, such groups have undergone DBS screening (Disclosures and Barring Service, formerly CRB), where this is required by current legislation or, additionally, by Diocese of Gloucester guidelines.

All Saints' Church
A Very Warm Welcome to All Saints' Blakeney
About us...
We are a Anglican Church with a warm welcome for everyone.
We are part of the benefice of Newnham with Awre and Blakeney. Patronal and special services are often celebrated together at one of the benefice churches.
Worship takes place each Sunday at 9.30am, or as listed within the service section. On fifth Sundays we share in worship with the other churches in our benefice. Look out for more information about where and when these services take place.
We also hold Wednesday prayers at 9am. Everyone is welcome.
We are currently in vacancy and do not have an active church council. We are delighted that weekly worship continues to take place. While the doors will be locked most of the time, the church is not closing nor closed. If you'd like to access the food table, chat to a member of the ministry team or are new to the village and want to find out more please do get in touch. Our ministry team are here for you!
