I am new here!

If you are visiting us for the first time then this may help you.

Q: When should I arrive?

A: We recommend arriving 10-15 minutes before the service starts to give yourself time to find a seat and have a look through the order of service. Of course you are most welcome to arrive just before the service starts if this is your preference.

Q: Are children welcome?

A: Children are most welcome. There are plenty of spaces where you can sit in the church with a buggy or pram close by. We have a children's' play area in the church near to the front. If you would like 'time out' from the service we have an adjacent Lounge Room you can use. Toilets are close to the Lounge and the Hall.

Q: Do you have a car park?

A: We have a limited number of spaces on St Augustine's road There are parking spaces on Lynn road plus parking on the road in Wisbech park, adjacent to the Church.

Q: How should I dress?

A: Dress in what you find comfortable. Some people may choose to wear their smartest clothes whilst others may feel more comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt. It's up to you. You will be treated to a warm welcome no matter what you wear.

Q: Will I have to stand up in front of people, or do a task?

A: You will not be asked to do anything except to enjoy the service and participate as you wish. If you choose to worship with us regularly then you may choose to join a rota to do a reading, say prayers or help with refreshments.

Q: What happens during a service?

A: Our services include Bible readings, prayers and Holy Communion (bread and wine), or a blessing, is offered.

Q: What if I don't know what to do in the service?

A: Most Sundays we use printed service sheets that helps you to follow the service and join in with the words said by the congregation. We also use hymn books. During the service you might see somebody bowing, or making the sign of the cross, or kneeling for prayers, and other people not doing any of those. We don't have set rules about those things and nobody will be watching to see who does things 'right' so please do not worry.

Q: Will there be refreshments?

A: Yes! On Sundays we have tea, coffee, biscuits and maybe cake, after the service.
