A morning service at St. Mary the Virgin Bexwell, every first Sunday in the month at 9.30am. We are experimenting with different forms of communion and services. We have Cafe Services, Forest Services and different forms of communion at this time.

An innovative approach to Sunday evening meditation and prayer. We meet via zoom and share a traditional Compline service with additional items of interest and contemplation. We explore the world of choral music, both ancient and modern and enjoy the company of one another across the UK.

Our service follows the Common Worship outline and is a friendly service where several voices will be heard sharing different parts of the service. We sit together in the nave being able to see one another's faces rather than sitting staring at the back of the head of the person in front.

These Prayer and Meditation gatherings allow us time to explore a wide range of issues through music, contemplation, readings from a variety of sources. As part of our every member ministry many people participate to read, write and share within these services. Music has a strong thread through the service and we can be listening to ancient mystics compositions through to modern new music - something for everyone. We explore themes of science, art, current affairs through the medium of film, music, prose, poetry and prayer.

When the month has 5 weeks in it we join together to listen and watch again to the music videos we have used in our compline and Prayer & Meditation Services. Our community votes and we play the most popular pieces.
