We are pleased to report that the first phase of the restoration of St Mary's is complete and we now enter the major building phase to restore the thatched nave and chancel roof and the metal south aisle roof, repairing the stonework as we progress.

It is estimated that once the offsite construction work is complete there will be on site work for some 26 weeks to restore the roofs and make the building weatherproof before next winter. There are some uninsured aspects to this work and in order to raise funds we are holding an Open Gardens at Beachamwell on 25th June 2023, please come along and see our gardens as well as the progress being made on the church.
