Calling all Ruth Galloway fans…

Exciting news. Elly Griffith has featured St Mary’s Weeting on the cover of her upcoming book The Last Remains which is the final instalment of the fantastic Ruth Galloway series. Elly has agreed to visit St Mary’s at 10.50 on 1st February before going on to Thetford Library where she will be ‘in conversation’ and will be signing copies of The Last Remains. Jane James owner of Not Just Books will have books available for purchase and will donate a proportion of the sales to St Mary’s for our much needed restoration work. Elly will speak briefly to the media at St Mary’s about the series, this book and its setting and we will also highlight the ongoing repairs at St Mary’s.
Free tickets to the Thetford library ‘conversation’ and book signing are available via the Norfolk.gov.uk website. I encourage as many of you as possible to come along to St Mary’s and go on to the event at Thetford library where you will have an opportunity to secure a signed copy of The Last Remains. Huge thanks to Sue Nairn for spotting St Mary’s on the cover when the book was advertised for pre release last August and which has led to securing Elly’s visit.
