The Grimshoe Benefice Lent Course for 2023 will be Women of Holy Week by the well known theologian Paula Gooder. It takes a look at the events of Holy Week and Easter through the imaginative lens of nine women mentioned in the Gospels. Their ‘stories’ are underpinned by reference to the relevant scriptures and there are a number of questions for us to consider and discuss – as well as some curved balls that Juanita and I will undoubtedly throw in along the way. Each session will cover two women’s stories with the 5 th session looking at Mary and concluding with a simple home Eucharist. The book is readily available in both print and electronic forms through Amazon or other retailers. The final session will take place on Monday 27th March, 7pm, at 3 Barretts lane, Feltwell IP26 4AP.
