Questions about your health or wellbeing?
Do you need to talk or share a worry or a concern?
Are you stressed, anxious or feeling low?
Our Parish nurse is now available if you want to discuss any issues.
I can signpost you to other agencies or services that may be able to help. Our Parish Nurse is a registered nurse who has many years of experience working in the NHS.
Parish nurses complete holistic assessments of those who wish to be supported, including intentional care of the Spirit.
Spiritual pain (or emotional and psychological pain) causes many physical symptoms and can make physical illness worse. We all have a spiritual part of us, but we do not often stop to think about what it means to us. It does not necessarily mean a religious faith but it relates to what we hope and aspire to, or what makes life worth living
Our Parish nursing ministry is available for people who have faith and those who have none.
Please feel free to drop in or make an appointment.
Our Parish nurse can be contacted at: [email protected]

Safeguarding

Welcome to St George's Church, the parish Church for Littleport. We hope you'll find helpful information about our Church here, both our services and how to get to know the community. We look forward to meeting you in person soon.

The parish of Littleport is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Ely’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
