St Mary the Virgin Church, Gamlingay and Chapel of Hatley St George (also Church of St Dennis, East Hatley)

St Mary the Virgin Church, Gamlingay, Chapel of Hatley St George and St Dennis', East Hatley, churchyard.

St Mary the Virgin church building is open daily from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm each day for private prayer, contemplation or to look around this beautiful old building. Please see the weekly newsletter under 'News and notices' for details of services and any changes to these opening times.

The Chapel of Hatley St George is a Chapel of Ease dedicated to St James the Great. It is open on request of the key from the farmhouse opposite the church.

At St Denis' church in East Hatley, only the churchyard is consecrated and therefore open for burials. It is managed as a County Wildlife Site by a group of volunteers linked to the PCC of Gamlingay and the Hatleys.

The building was declared redundant in 1961 and later deconsecrated. It is now in the care of the Friends of Friendless Churches and is opened every day from around 8:30 am to dusk to look round or for quiet contemplation.
