On Thursday 10th December, our Church clock was taken down and left the village for the first time since it was made in 1742, heading to Cumbria.

Many people have asked about contributing to the restoration project. We feel as strongly as they do that the clock should be returned as soon as possible to be reunited with the bell striking the hour for the village.
