Welcome to St Mary's Buckden.
Our summer season of events across the Benefice continues into August (see individual events for more details). This week, 22nd to 28th July at St Marys Buckden the church is open to visitors every day, so do come and take a look around.
Services in St Mary’s this week are as follows:-
Monday to Thursday. Morning Prayer at 9am and Evening Prayer at 5pm
Wednesday 10am Holy Communion.
Wednesday 24th July 1pm Funeral of Wendy Rostron
Thursday 25th July 10am Funeral of Lindley Davies
Sunday 28th July 11am Holy Communion and 4pm 4th@4 informal art-based service. There is also a service of Holy Communion 9.30am at our sister church All Saints in Offord Cluny.

Thursday 7pm Getting Active, meet outside the Lion Hotel to walk for 1 hour.
Friday 7pm Angel Voices rehearse
Saturday 27th July 10am to noon Bacon Butties in Offord Village Hall.
Sunday 29th July 3pm Board Games at the back of church for an hour

About us.
We are a friendly village church with an active congregation. We run a variety of services and events throughout the year. Something for everyone, we hope. The church is open every day and visitors are always welcome. Our main Holy Communion services are on Sunday at 11am and Wednesday at 10.00am. Sunday Club for the youngsters runs during the 11am Sunday service twice a month. Morning and Evening Prayers are said at 9am and 5pm Monday to Thursday.
All are welcome to join us for coffee at 11am every Wednesday, Morning Coffee and Cakes every first Saturday, and on the afternoon of the second Wednesday each month we host a Community Cafe.
Our group activities include Junior Church and youth@thetowers for the children/youth; Men's Breakfast; Angel Voices for the singers; bell-ringers; Getting Active for those who like to walk, Cleaning Crew. Our Living Stones Room is available to hire for small groups events.
