Welcome to St Mary's Buckden.   

This week, 30th September to 6th October at St Marys Buckden the church is open to visitors every day, so do come and take a look around.

This week we celebrate Harvest; Buckden School visit for their harvest service on Monday and our Harvest Thanksgiving service is at 11am on Sunday. Gifts of non-perishable goods are welcome and will be donated to Godmanchester Foodbank.. 

Services in St Mary’s this week are as follows:-

Monday to Thursday 9am Morning Prayer and 5pm Evening Prayer 

Monday 30th September 1pm Funeral of Bob Bargh at All Saints, Offord

Wednesday 10am BCP Holy Communion

Sunday 6th October 8am Holy Communion and 11am Harvest Thanksgiving. Our sister church All Saints Offord Cluny also has a Harvest Thanksgiving service at 11am followed by harvest lunch.

Saturday 5th October Coffee & Cakes 10.30 to noon. Come along for a cuppa and a chat (and homemade cake)

About us.
We are a friendly village church with an active congregation. We run a variety of services and events throughout the year. Something for everyone, we hope. The church is open every day and visitors are always welcome. Our main Holy Communion services are on Sunday at 11am and Wednesday at 10.00am. Sunday Club for the youngsters runs during the 11am Sunday service twice a month. Morning and Evening Prayers are said at 9am and 5pm Monday to Thursday.

All are welcome to join us for coffee at 11am every Wednesday, Morning Coffee and Cakes every first Saturday, and on the afternoon of the second Wednesday each month we host a Community Cafe.

Our group activities include Junior Church and youth@thetowers for the children/youth; Men's Breakfast; Angel Voices for the singers; bell-ringers; Getting Active for those who like to walk, Cleaning Crew.  Our Living Stones Room is available to hire for small groups events.
