A series of four Lent Addresses followed by discussion, food and compline
2 in St Mary’s and 2 in our sister church, All Saints Offord Cluny
12-3-25, in St Mary's
Fed by Ravens - on how Elijah was given rest and refreshment in the Kerith Valley, and how we too need and can have Kerith experiences.
26-3-25, in All Saints'
Christ in Glory - on depictions of the risen and ascended Christ seated on the throne give an unexpected insight into the human brain.
2-4-25, in St Mary's
The Annunciation - on Mary becoming the first tabernacle for Jesus Christ.
9-4-25, in All Saints'
Life Together - on our shared and mutual love in discipleship, across the benefice, and with reference to certain passages in Dietrich Bonhoeffer's book, Life Together.
This seems a good note to end these talks with but also the 9th April, annually, is the day the church remembers Bonhoeffer's death in 1945.
